The City of Bellevue will host a public meeting on Aug. 27 to gather community input on conceptual designs for an eight-acre park in the BelRed neighborhood. The meeting will be held at Crossroads Community Center and online on Sept. 3.
The park site, located between 124th and 130th avenues adjacent to the light rail line, is part of BelRed's transformation from industrial to mixed-use development. Parks Director Meredith Petit emphasized the park will reflect community needs and values, with feedback to shape the final design.
The city is holding its second meeting on the project, following the initial phase of conceptual design where core ideas about the park's function and purpose are defined.
