Kirkland will implement traffic restrictions and parking bans for the Kirk-Wood Half Marathon on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026. The event will impact roads from 6:30 a.m. until approximately 9 a.m. or until the last runner passes.
Residents should plan for delays and restricted parking near Northwest University, where the race starts and finishes in Woodinville. Vehicles parked in restricted zones will be towed. Organizers expect 500 participants and recommend using event shuttles or planning ahead for off-site parking.
