The City of Kirkland will host the 26th annual Junior League Softball World Series from August 2 to August 8, 2026, with games played at Everest Park. A Welcome Rally will be held at Lee Johnson Field on August 1, featuring a Parade of Champions, live DJ, and a celebrity game.
The event, organized by Little League, will feature 10 teams from five global regions competing in 27 games. The Welcome Rally will include appearances by Kirkland City Councilmembers, Governor Bob Ferguson, and celebrity captains Marcus Trufant and Terry Hollimon. The City Councilmember Amy Falcone emphasized the event's role in celebrating women's sports and showcasing Kirkland as a destination.
