Sound Transit to adjust bus routes Aug. 29-31

Sound Transit will implement changes to ST Express bus routes effective August 29-31, 2026. The adjustments include adding bi-directional service on Route 513, eliminating Routes 515, 550, 554, 570, 580, and 586, and introducing overnight service on Routes 547 and 597.

Route 570 will be replaced by Pierce Transit-operated Route 597 between Lakewood and Seattle. Other changes include shortening Route 522 to Shoreline South, increasing frequency on Route 556 in Issaquah, and adding stops on W Casino Rd for Route 513.
